FOOD / Vegan Shepherd's Pie

Hello and welcome!





2 carrots 
1 brown onion
10 white cup mushrooms
1 1/2 cup of lentils
2 garlic cloves
7 potatoes
2 cups of vegetable stock
1 cup of soy milk
1tbs of (vegan) butter
1/4 cup of (vegan) bbq sauce
-- note: most bbq sauces are vegan!



  1. Dice vegetables.
  2. Heat pan and add oil. Add vegetables and saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Add lentils and vegetable stock. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  5. Peel and cut up potatoes. Boil for 15 minutes. Drain, mash and add butter and soy milk. You can also add seasoning of your choice. I added garlic salt!
  6. Add BBQ sauce and soy sauce to vegetable and lentil mixture. 
  7. Scoop mixture into pan and spread mashed potatoes on top.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
